Map edits and purpose to player drives


Hey friends, today is a pretty short and minor changes to the garden map I show cased here a few days ago, so lets dive right into my thoughts.

Stretch goals

Yeah... I didn't hit any of these marks, wanted to do it but just never had the time to invest into them 

Player Drives

This map hits the exploration and curiosity parts of the player drives. The map tells a story in font of a silly goal at the end which encourages a player to find that end, and the curiosity portion of what is the apearance of said goal and what does the rest of the map might look like?

Map additions

- Added in a a dungeonish themed  "maze" type deal that the player must traverse through to find the garden (very very short)

- Added in the end goal asset within the garden 

Bugs and Cons

- Map is very short 

- Not much decoration and not eye catching and appealing 

- Dungeon wall corners will appear see through in certain areas

- Some wall textures are bugged 

- End goal asset as double sided and can appear see through from side view 

- Player can see the outside void 

General  dev thoughts

I'm really not happy about this map but just needed to have something for an upload, I had vision a much better map and have a more playable map but time did not allow that for me and the goals where very unrealistic for myself to do within a spand of 3 days to make a good looking map.

Future plans to improve

Goal here to make an actual playable game and level that is appealing and clearly not rushed to make deadlines. (hopefully) meaning, it is needed to spend more time within making these levels/games.
